Hydrostop switches and flashers are small electrical components, but they are essential for the safety and correct functioning of the electrical systems of motorcycles and scooters.

⚡ Hydrostop Switches (Hydraulic Pressure Stop)

🔧 What are they?

Hydrostops are switches that activate the rear brake light when the hydraulic brake (front or rear) is applied.

📍 Where are they located?

• On the front or rear brake pump
• Connect to the hydraulic circuit pipes

🛠️ Main types

1. Threaded M10x1 / M10x1.25

The most common, it is mounted where the brake pipe starts

2. Pressure with screw connection

Present on many aftermarket brake pumps

3. Lever or microswitch

Used in drum brakes or non-hydraulic systems

🔁 Flasher Relay (Arrow)

🔧 What does he do?

Check the speed and regularity with which the indicators flash.

📟 Types of flashing

1. 2-pole

Positive + arrow output (the simplest)

2. 3-pole

Positive + ground + output (more complete)

3. For LED

Specific for LED indicators (avoid rapid flashing)

4. Adjustable

Some have trimmers to adjust the speed
