The handlebar is one of the most customizable and functional parts of a motorcycle. Changing it can improve ergonomics, control, and style... and it's also one of the most popular upgrades for naked, custom, and off-road bikes 🚀

🏍️ Types of Motorcycle Handlebars

  • Classic steel or aluminum tube
  • Diameter 22 mm (European and Japanese standard)
  • Ideal for: scramblers , vintage bikes , city bikes
🛠️ 2. Oversize / Tapered handlebar
  • Variable diameter: 28.6 mm in the center, 22 mm at the ends
  • Stiffer and more resistant → perfect for off-road , naked sports , supermoto
  • Requires specific risers to be mounted
🔩 3. Semi-Dumbbells
  • Two separate pieces mounted directly on the fork
  • Lower and sportier position
  • Ideal for: supersport motorcycles , café racers , track days
  • They can be:
    1. Fixed
    2. Adjustable in height and inclination
🏍️ 4. Custom Handlebars / Ape Hanger
  • Typical of custom or cruiser motorcycles (e.g. Harley-Davidson)
  • Very tall (“ape hanger”) or very wide
  • Highly personal style, but require attention to cables and approval
