Osculati offers a range of glands and packings designed to ensure effective watertightness in boat propeller shaft casings. Here is a selection of the main products available:

Stuffing gland:

The gland packing is made of long, square-section cotton fibers mixed with hemp and Teflon, ensuring a reliable seal. It is recommended to install it in short lengths, each forming a single ring. Available options include:

• 6 mm packing (18/25 mm shafts): 2 m pack
• 8 mm packing (25/35 mm shafts): Pack of 2 m
• 10 mm packing (40/60 mm shafts): Pack of 2 m

Rubber packing:

This packing gland is made of a special rubber resistant to salt water and lubricating grease, ensuring long-lasting water seal with minimal maintenance. The kit includes the packing gland, an AISI 316 stainless steel clamp, and a tube of shaft-specific lubricant. Available variants include:

• Version A: With brass hose holder for external water lubrication and grease hole.
• Version B: Without hose holder and grease hole.
