Specifically, the built-in thermal sensor monitors external temperature fluctuations, automatically adjusting the charging cycle to provide a proper charge; intelligent indicators detect when the charger is connected with reverse polarity or to an incompatible or discharged battery.

The voltage sensor and forced mode complete the picture: the first detects and automatically charges flat batteries starting from 1V; the second allows the user to manually charge batteries with voltages of 0V.
