L'elettropompa centrifuga CEM B-CE 16 ha il corpo e la girante in bronzo, l'albero in acciaio inox 316 e una tenuta meccanica anticorrosione in ceramica/grafite/NBR. Eroga fino a 40 l/min con una prevalenza massima di 6 m, assorbendo 10 A a 12 V per una potenza di 150 W (0,2 HP) a 3000 giri/min.
L'impiego classico e' lo svuotamento di sentine, l'antincendio e il travaso di liquidi. I materiali costruttivi la rendono particolarmente adatta come pompa di raffreddamento nei sistemi giroscopici: il fornitore la suggerisce per i modelli Seakeeper 1, 2, 3, 4 e 5, nei quali il controllo della temperatura operativa e' critico per proteggere il motore elettrico, l'inverter e i cuscinetti alloggiati nella sfera.
