Duralac Insulator and Sealant Duralac Green

A revamped version of the original Duralac, it is a plastic insulator and sealant used to prevent galvanic corrosion at the point of contact between two dissimilar metals, such as: aluminum gunwales secured with stainless steel screws, aluminum or brass winches secured with stainless steel bolts, stainless steel mast accessories secured to the aluminum mast itself with rivets or screws, and bollards coupled with dissimilar metal studs. It is a chromate-free, durable, and flexible yellow paste that is applied between the two metals during mating. It is applied with a brush and must not be diluted. § Duralac Green.
