The Egis XD Flex 2 Dual is a high-performance bistable battery disconnect relay, part of Egis Mobile Electric's XD Flex modular platform. This dual-configuration module occupies the left position in a triple system and features two configurable electronic relays, each usable as a remotely controlled ON/OFF disconnect relay or as a voltage-sensing relay (VSR/ACR) for the automatic connection and disconnection of batteries.
Each relay features an ON/LOCK OFF manual selector to override the state regardless of the automatic logic, and a status LED. In VSR mode, the system operates without manual intervention, connecting and disconnecting the batteries based on the detected voltage levels; in relay mode, the contacts respond to external ON/OFF switches. The platform is compatible with lead-acid, AGM, GEL, and LiFePO4 batteries, as well as lithium/lead hybrid systems. The power supply accepts voltages from 8 to 36 V DC. The version described here is equipped with knobs and flying wires for connection. XD Flex models do not integrate NMEA 2000 or MFD display.
