Lewmar VX2 low/high winch kit (1000 W)
The Lewmar VX2+ is a stainless steel anchor windlass with composite details, in the high-body version, designed for boats from 9 to 13 meters. The 1000 W 24 V motor and the robust helical reducer deliver a maximum pulling capacity of 1025 kg and a recovery speed of up to 39 m/min; under continuous operation, the pulling capacity is 256 kg and the speed is 10 m/min, with a current draw of 74 A. The manufacturer recommends a 90 A magnetic-thermal protection device.
The certified hybrid gypsy is compatible with Ø 8 mm chain and Ø 12-16 mm rope, and the manufacturer describes it as very quiet and lightweight. The motor-reducer is IP67 certified. The magnet and chain contact sensor are pre-installed (code 02.355.20). The clutch release is manual. The remote control switch is included in the supply. The deck footprint is the same as the V2/V3 series, which facilitates replacement on boats already equipped. The orientation flexibility simplifies installation even in non-standard spaces. The VX2+ version is also available with a gypsy and bell.
