Lewmar Snatch Blocks/Snatch Blocks
Lewmar snap blocks are Synchro quick-release snap blocks designed for general use with spinnakers and to withstand extreme conditions. Soft synthetic rubber guards protect the deck from direct contact with the block body.
The snap block allows the line to be inserted without having to remove it from the end, making maneuvers quick even under load. The Synchro snap ensures quick release when the block needs to be recovered. The two versions differ in block material, diameter, and maximum working load: the Delrin version features a Ø 66 mm block, accepts lines up to Ø 14 mm, and works up to 1,135 kg; the aluminum version features a Ø 80 mm block, accepts lines up to Ø 16 mm, and works up to 2,155 kg.
Available versions: Delrin Ø 66 mm and aluminum Ø 80 mm.
