Loctite HY 4070 two-component hybrid gel adhesive syringe 11 g
Loctite HY 4070 is a two-component hybrid gel adhesive, combining cyanoacrylate and acrylic. It ranges in color from colorless to transparent pale yellow, with a gel consistency that allows it to fill gaps of up to 5 mm without running. It is applied at room temperature, and bonding to aluminum with a 0.5 mm gap takes less than 60 seconds.
The two-component formulation ensures complete polymerization even of excess adhesive, with good resistance to temperature and humidity. It bonds to plastic, rubber, and metal and is suitable for structural bonding, bonding dissimilar materials, edge bonding, and interior repairs. The mixing ratio by volume is 10:1. For best results, the supplier recommends using the Loctite mixing nozzle for 10 ml syringes for hybrid and two-component cyanoacrylate adhesives, compatible with HY 4070 and HY 3090, not included in the package.
