L'HDS PRO 12 di Lowrance e' un chartplotter con ecoscandaglio integrato di nuova generazione, equipaggiato in dotazione con il trasduttore Active Imaging HD. Il display touchscreen SolarMAX HD da 12 pollici (risoluzione 1280x800) rimane leggibile alla luce solare diretta e attraverso le lenti polarizzate.
Il sonar interno dispone di due porte trasduttori 9 Pin Xsonic indipendenti con potenza massima di 1 kW per canale. Il trasduttore Active Imaging HD copre tre tecnologie in un unico corpo: CHIRP Lowrance, SideScan e DownScan Imaging. La funzione FishReveal, che sovrappone le tracce dei pesci all'immagine DownScan, e' stata estesa anche al SideScan per identificare i pesci ai lati e sotto lo scafo, richiedendo il modulo S3100 opzionale.
L'integrazione di rete si appoggia a NMEA 2000 e USB. Il sistema e' compatibile con radar Halo, autopiloti NAC1 e NAC2, SiriusXM Weather/Audio e con il live sonar ActiveTarget 2, che supporta l'installazione plug-and-play di due unita' simultanee. Le carte nautiche supportate includono C-MAP Discover/Reveal e Navionics+/Platinum. L'antenna GPS e' interna.
