Osculati Stick Friend

Easily and precisely adjustable in length. It combines two important functions: 1) it is a robust, precisely extendable stick; 2) it is a manual autopilot; it performs the same function as the locking wheel for wheel steering systems. Once locked in its seat, it holds the rudder bar in the desired position; it can be easily adjusted by rotating the handle and sliding it to the new desired position; then, upon releasing the handle, “Friend” will lock in that position. Returning to traditional stick control is easy and intuitive: simply lift it from its housing to unlatch it. Useful when sailing, allowing you to leave the helm at any time, in port or at anchor, to keep the rudder bar locked.
