The Dometic KZ16 nozzle, calibrated to 30 mbar, is the gas burner jet that regulates the flow of propane or butane in the heating circuit of Dometic absorption refrigerators. In absorption refrigerators, the gas burner is the heating element that initiates the refrigeration cycle when the unit is not connected to the mains electricity: a worn or clogged nozzle compromises combustion and prevents operation in gas mode. Replacement with the original spare part restores the correct flow without affecting the other components of the system.
