SINGLE FLOAT STOPPER. Made from lightweight, modern materials, DO 550 molded parts are made of high-quality, lightweight, and impact-resistant plastic. Cams and bases are made of marine-grade aluminum, anodized for long-lasting durability in a marine environment. The clutch mechanism, featuring a specially hardened tooth design, allows maximum grip with minimal slippage, while being gentle on the lines. Release under load is positive and requires minimal effort. The opening and closing action of the mechanism is precise and easy to use, even with cold, wet hands. There is also a positive handle lock in the closed position. Stainless steel fairleads are fitted at both the line entry and exit points, a feature that helps prevent wear and line friction.
