The Victron Energy Multicontrol 70 A is a 230 V, 70 A charger with power inverter and booster.
One device, multiple functions
If the vehicle is not connected to the 230 V electrical grid, Multiplus works as a power inverter, taking 12 V current from the battery and transforming it into 230 V alternating current.
When the camper is connected to the 230 V electrical network, Multiplus becomes an advanced multi-phase battery charger that supplies charging to the service battery, and thanks to the integrated bypass, simultaneously conveys alternating current to the vehicle's users.
If the power required by the appliances exceeds that provided by the column, Multiplus becomes a 230V booster that draws from the service battery to provide an energy boost to support the alternating current coming from the mains, allowing the starting of large appliances such as air conditioners, coffee makers and hairdryers.

It is also possible to control the operation of Multiplus directly from the Digital MultiControl GX control panel mounted inside the vehicle, or thanks to Bluetooth connectivity it is possible to connect with your smartphone, by downloading the free VRM app for Android or iOS.
