Construction-wise, the device features a weatherproof case with wall mounting eyelets featuring a 6ft AC power connector and a 6ft charging connector terminating in an SAE connector.
The device can be used both outdoors and indoors up to a temperature of -40°.
The OPTIMATE5 AMPATIC is very safe as it protects against the risk of overload not only thanks to the absence of sparks but also by automatic shutdown and battery disconnection in the event of a short circuit.
It is also calibrated not to recharge if the battery voltage does not match the selected one: the user simply confirms the battery type by pressing the appropriate button for just 3 seconds.
