A 2 kg powder fire extinguisher is a portable fire extinguishing device, designed to extinguish initial fires.

It is often used in cars, campers, small boats, homes or places where a lot of “force” for immediate intervention is not needed.

MAIN FEATURES:

Metal tank : cylindrical body made of sheet steel, resistant to internal pressure
Fire extinguishing powder : a chemical mixture (usually ABC powder) that acts by suffocation, chemical inhibition and cooling.
Valve / actuator : lever that opens the passage for powder dispensing.
Pressure gauge / indicator : Shows whether the extinguisher is still charged within the correct operating range.
Nozzle / lance : from which the powder comes out and is directed towards the fire.
Mount / Bracket : To fix it to the wall or vehicle.
