Al-Ko BC122-22A series switching battery charger

BC122-22A series high-efficiency switching battery charger for lead, gel, AGM and lithium batteries.
The batteries must have a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity adequate for the battery charger current, 22 A.

In battery charging mode, you can use the dip switch to select the charging algorithm depending on the battery type. When turned on, the LED flashes (green or blue).
It uses a combination of Constant Current and Constant Voltage charging, which significantly reduces charging time and does not damage the batteries even if the charger is permanently connected to the mains.
It also functions as a power supply when the mains is present but no utility battery is connected. The voltage is managed by the charging algorithm set with the dip switches .
It is possible to connect a temperature probe to the device and place it on the battery to adapt the selected charging algorithm to the battery temperature.
If the temperature is >50°C, charging is temporarily interrupted and the alarm resets automatically once the battery has cooled. For lithium batteries only, if the temperature is <0°C, the charging current is reduced.
