💡 Most commonly used light bulb types on motorcycles and scooters

🔦 1. Headlights

Type Characteristics
HS1 35/35W – very common on 50cc/125cc scooters
H4 55/60W – double filament, low beam/high beam
H7 Single low beam – powerful, focused light
LED Low consumption, white light, long life

🔙 2. Rear Lights & Stop Lights

Type Notes
R5W / R10W / P21/5W Position + double strand stop
LED Replaces traditional ones, more visible and long-lasting

BA15S (P21W) Classic single contact light bulb

  • Lamp type : halogen, LED, xenon (for more modern or modified motorcycles)

  • Polarity (especially with LEDs: they must be installed the right way round)
