Spark Plug Caps for Motorcycles and Scooters

Spark plug caps (or spark plug boots ) are small but essential components in the ignition system of motorcycles and scooters. They connect the coil to the spark plug , transmitting the high voltage needed to generate the spark that ignites the air/fuel mixture in the cylinder.

  • Conducts the high voltage from the coil to the spark plug

  • Isolates and protects the system from humidity , shocks , vibrations

  • It influences the intensity of the spark and therefore the quality of the ignition

  • Non-resistive racing pipettes can interfere with digital instruments (speedometer, tachometer)

  • If you fit R (resistive) spark plugs such as NGK BR7HS, choose non-resistive spark plugs , or you risk double resistance ➝ weak spark
