• The Tough One is designed for extreme terrain : tough climbs, roots, rocks, deep mud, “hard enduro” conditions.

• Key technologies:

  • LFC – Lateral Flex Control : carcass designed to control lateral flex, maintaining traction and stability in extreme conditions.

  • CCRC – Chipping & Chunking Resistant Compound : compound and tread pattern designed to resist block breakage and wear in aggressive conditions.

  • UTAC – Ultra Tacky Advanced Compound : ultra-sticky compound that ensures maximum grip on wet and difficult terrain.

• Typical size: for example rear 140/80-18.

• “Spec B” variant with very deep knobs (e.g. 15 mm) for super extreme conditions.

• Approval: generally “NHS – Not for highway service” for some versions, therefore typically for off-road use only.
