The Lowrance 1.8M NMEA 2000 Cable is a useful accessory when you already have an NMEA network installed and need to add a new instrument (e.g. fishfinder, dashboard, sensor) nearby.
It can also be used if you are renewing or extending your existing backbone and need an official Lowrance quality cable.
MAIN FEATURES:
- Length : 1.8m (approx. 6ft) – ideal as a backbone or drop cable depending on the installation
- Connector : Standard 5-pin brown Micro-C, fully compatible with all Lowrance, Simrad, B&G and Navico NMEA 2000 equipment
- Recommended use : to be used both as a backbone extension and as a drop cable to add a device to the network, respecting the maximum distance of 6 m per device
- Guaranteed quality : NMEA 2000 IEC-compliant certified, rugged marine grade materials, plug & play standard without soldering or adapters
For more complex configurations, also consider purchasing the Lowrance NMEA 2000 Starter Kit (with terminators, T-connectors, power node, and backbone/drop cables).
TECHNICAL ADVICE:
- Use a 120 Ω terminator at both ends of the backbone to avoid interference
- Respect the maximum distance of 6 m between devices and 250 m for the overall backbone
- Pair with a power node if you are building the network from scratch (for battery power)
