Correct use:

DEKAsyl MS-5 can be easily applied with a hand or compressed air gun. For sealing, Dekasyl MS-5 should be applied within 12 minutes (at 20°C/50% relative humidity) with a spatula previously dipped in a neutral soap solution. The surface can then be further worked or sanded.
Avoid allowing the lateral solution to penetrate between the sides to be joined and the sealant, as this will result in a loss of adhesive strength. To bond, after applying Dekasyl MS-5, the surfaces must be brought together and bonded within 15 minutes (at 20°C/50% relative humidity).
The higher the temperature, the shorter the processing time! Generally, a 2 mm adhesive layer is recommended if the materials to be bonded (with similar strength) are similar. If the difference in thermal expansion is greater, the adhesive layer should be thicker. At a temperature of 20°C and a relative humidity of 50%, Dekasyl MS-5 can be repainted after 10 minutes with most industrial paints. The best possible adhesion of the paint layers is achieved when the paint is applied 4 hours after applying Dekasyl MS-5. Do not clean tools or remove uncured residues of Dekasyl MS-5 with a clean, colorless cloth soaked in acetone or butanone, or MEK, (it is recommended to check beforehand whether the surface being treated is affected by this cleaner).
