The Al-Ko AKS 3004 stabilizer coupling is an accessory designed to ensure safe and relaxed journeys with trailers up to 3,000 kg gross weight.
Thanks to the brake linings and stabilization systems, it is in fact the ideal solution for always having control of the trailer, even in the most extreme situations such as rough terrain and high-speed driving. The use of safety joints perfectly solves any trim problem, giving you full control at all times.
The AKS 3004 hitch is mounted directly onto the drawbar in place of the ball joint; then simply attach the caravan or trailer to the towing vehicle's hitch using the stabilizer and you're done!
You will immediately notice an improvement in the smoothness of the ride, as the joint is designed to significantly reduce the sway of the convoy.
The innovative design of the Al-Ko AKS 3004 stabilizer joint makes it a modern and elegant accessory; the flat, ergonomic lever is practical and functional, and the black plastic coating is highly resistant to UV rays, making this accessory durable over time.
The 4 integrated brake linings are easily replaceable in case of wear and do not require any cleaning as the material they are made of is resistant to any weather conditions.

AKS 3004 JOINT OPERATION
Once the coupling has been connected to your trailer or caravan, you need to operate the stabilizing lever which compresses the brake linings on the tow ball of your car's tow hook.
The coupling lever and stabilization lever are operated with one hand and are separated for greater ease of use.
The integrated Soft-Dock system makes the connection safe, absorbing shocks or vibrations during the docking maneuver and preventing any damage to the car or trailer.
The safety indicator on the Al-Ko AKS 3004 stabilizer joint finally checks that everything is positioned correctly.
