The SH40 is a top case made of high-quality reinforced polypropylene with a 40-liter capacity, providing enough space for a full-face helmet, multiple accessories, or two jet helmets. The case is resistant to extreme temperatures and protects the internal cargo from impacts and falls, as well as precipitation in the form of water and snow. It features a "Handle Lock System," a lock that allows you to simultaneously close the case and secure it to the motorcycle. It also has a practical handle, making it particularly convenient to remove and transport the case. The interior is equipped with elastic straps to keep the cargo in place. Like all SHAD cases, it can be opened and closed with just one hand, without using the key, which is only needed when attaching the case to the plate on the motorcycle. Its design with an Alu Look aluminum finish makes it ideal for on- or off-road use and for mounting in combination with the SH23 Alu Look side cases. The SH40 also features the following optional extras: the backrest (D0RI60), perfectly integrated with the top case and designed to offer greater comfort to the passenger, and the brake light kit (D0B40KL), made with low-consumption LEDs and designed to increase visibility and safety. The brake light kit is also particularly easy to install, as it attaches directly to the lower part of the top case base. Like almost all SHAD top cases, the SH40 includes the plate and the mounting kit.
